Here is an ab split test example of how actionable text drives conversion.

Advertising often uses things like "feel fresh!" and this makes it's way into UI design on the web. What we have learned is that impression advertising builds up your emotional associations with a certain product but advertising that drives some sort of mesurable conversion has to be in a different paradime.
